There are 8 renewals for Discretionary Preservation Easements for Historic Agricultural Structures. The hearing is to accept public input on why or why not each structure will receive a reduction in its tax assessment. 9.19.16 From NH DOT: Cornish Public Informational Meeting Reconstruction of a Section of Saint Gaudens Road
The New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) announces a Public Informational Meeting will be held in Cornish on the planned reconstruction of Saint Gaudens Road from NH Route 12A to Saint-Gaudens National Historic Site.
The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 6:00 pm, at the Cornish Town Hall, 488 Town House Road, in Cornish, NH.
The project work includes removal of the existing pavement structure, improvements to the subsurface structure, placement of new pavement, earth work, and other miscellaneous activities. The work also includes the installation of underdrains on both sides of the roadway and the replacement of the existing cable guardrail along the westerly side. A final pavement overlay will be placed from the NH Route 12A intersection to the Visitor’s Center with a future NHDOT project.
The purpose of this meeting is to present citizens and public officials with information regarding the proposed project and to solicit public input in order to ensure that project decisions meet public transportation needs, community goals, and protect and enhance the environment. Accordingly, NHDOT assures that this project will be administered according to the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all related statutes to ensure nondiscrimination.

1.1.2015 Cornish Zoning Ordinance Amendment The Cornish Planning Board will hold a public hearing under RSA 675:3 on January 15, 2015, at 7pm in the Cornish Town Office on a proposed amendment to the Cornish Zoning Ordinance to adopt a digitized copy of the current 1992 Cornish zoning district map.
