Emergency Management is responsible for planning and initiating a local response to not only disasters but emergency situations. The Emergency Management Director is responsible for ensuring that all departments are aware of their responsibilities prior to, during, and after disaster of emergency that impacts the community of Cornish and its residents.
The Emergency Management Director also works with the Board of Selectmen and Department Heads to update the Hazard Mitigation Plan and the Emergency Operations Plan for the Town of Cornish.
