Curbside Pickup

Step 1: The fastest way to choose a book for Curbside Service is to place a “hold” on the title. Research the book(s) you want in the library’s online catalog (Koha). The books will be listed as “Available” or “Checked Out.”  If the book is listed as “Available,” place a hold on that book. The librarian will contact you via email to schedule a pickup time. If the book is listed as “Checked Out,” place a hold on that title. The librarian will send you an email when the book is available to schedule a pickup time. The current limit is three books per patron.

Step 2: If you are not comfortable using the library’s online catalog, call the library or e-mail a request.  E-mails are preferred. If you call, please speak clearly, leave a brief message and a call back number.

email  or phone: (603) 543-3644

Step 3:  You will receive a call or an e-mail response to your request.  We will arrange a pick-up time during this exchange. Set times are:

  • Mondays as needed
  • Wednesday afternoons from 3:00 – 6:00 pm
  • Saturday mornings from 9:00 am – 12:00 noon

Step 4: Your items will be checked out to you.  They will be bagged and tagged and waiting on the front step at the arranged time.  No need to wait!

Step 5:  Return dates are listed under the Checked Out tab of your patron login page. You can renew most items yourself using your patron account. If you finish your book before the due date, you may return it to the book drop (the red mailbox) on the library steps.  (We cannot reuse the plastic bags so please do not return them but recycle them instead.)
