• 2026 General Election: Absentee Ballots are Available.

  Absentee Ballots for the November 3, 2026, General Election have arrived. If you are a registered voter and will be unable to make the Polls at the Cornish Town Hall on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm for the State General Election, you can vote by absentee ballot.

  Please call, email, or come to the Town Office. Absentee Ballot Applications are available at the Town Office and on this website.

  The last day to request an absentee ballot is Monday, November 2, 2026. The Town Clerk will hold hours from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on that day. Ballots must be in the possession of the Town Clerk, either hand delivered or mailed, by 5:00 pm on Election Day, Tuesday, November 3, 2026. If you are NOT a registered voter, but would like to be, please call or email the Town Clerk. New voters may also register at the polls on Election Day.

New voters can come to the Town Clerk’s office to register to vote during regular business hours or during a Supervisors of the Checklist session.

To vote absentee, please complete an absentee ballot application and bring to the Town Clerk’s Office. More absentee voting information can be found on the NH SOS website.
