Firewood

Neighbor-to-Neighbor is a group of volunteers who provide assistance to Cornish residents in need.  We have provided firewood at the Recycling Center, stacked firewood at individual homes, taken people for medical and grocery trips, helped with gardening, built a ramp for the handicapped, shoveled snow, and even changed ceiling light-bulbs.  We meet the first Wednesday of every month for breakfast at Anne’s Country Store, 7:30, in Plainfield.  All are welcome to attend.

Referrals come from General Assistance(Pam Annis, 542-3781); Aging In Place(Connie Kousman, 542-7107), or Volunteers in Action(Martha Zoerheide, 1-802-674-5971).  Direct requests for assistance may be made to Laird Klingler(675-6448).
