ARCTIC SEA ICE – Jackie Richter-Menge

This presentation will describe the wide-ranging impacts persistent warming temperatures are having on the Arctic environment. Jackie has been doing polar research since 1981, working with CREEL for 34 years. She is a firsthand witness to the rapid, climate-related changes taking place in the Arctic, having led or participated in more than 25 field programs. Her field observations help to better understand the impact of the warming climate on the Arctic environment, with an emphasis on the sea ice cover.
