Jim Fitch, Corey Fitch, Larry Duval, Will Brown, Leo Maslan, Laura Prignano, Lucas Prignano, Doug Freeland, Jody Schubert and Sue Fitch worked to remove old decking from the bridge at CREA and replaced it with new. The lumber was milled by Jim with logs donated by Reyer Jaarsma, Larry carted away a trailer load of the rotted decking and Leo brought his tractor to help move decking to the north end and carry out more of the rotted timbers. It was a very busy morning and THANK YOU to all who came to help!  Great progress was made!!

Another work day is scheduled for 5/18 from 8:00am-12:00pm.  Our plan for the day is to finish the bridge, do a clean up and open the bridge for the community to use once again.  

The bridge at the CREA property is currently closed until repairs are able to be made. The CREA Committee is meeting on Tuesday, April 23rd at 6:30 at the Town Office when we will discuss the redecking of the bridge as well as stabilizing the north end due to high water washout and beaver activity.
